It’s never been harder building successful teams. With challenges of work-from-anywhere, flex-schedule and generational divides, business leaders bend over backwards searching for solutions that work. They’ve tried everything from food perks and ping pong tables to endless team-building exercises and training—but nothing sticks.
Now, in his long-awaited book for leaders at all levels, bestselling author Mike Michalowicz reveals his proven formula to build an unstoppable team for any work environment:
All In shows readers how to:
- Recruit the right talent
- Transform struggling employees into superstars
- Match individual abilities to client and company needs
- Elevate your company to where every employee cares as much as an owner
You want a thriving workforce that shines and sticks around. One that takes full responsibility for their work and outcomes. A community of employees who love your organization and are invested in its growth. With All In you will discover how to build a team where everyone flourishes–including you.
Throughout All In, Mike explores unique strategies he’s encountered in the wild and shares his own learning experiences around recruiting, hiring, and retaining 5-Star Fit talent to ultimately build the unstoppable team of every leader’s dreams.
He also draws inspiration from Danielle Mulvey and her easy-to-follow, results-yielding hiring process: The 5-Star Fit Method. This process outlines the best way to hire high-achieving top talent while filtering out mediocre candidates, who easily fool lots of leaders and hiring managers.
(We’ve been working with Danielle and her team at The All In Company for the past year and we are crushing it with our new hires now!)
Being All In is a mindset shift that encourages and challenges every leader to become a great leader. We all have it in us, Mike simply lays the foundation for us and provides helpful tools from other great leaders.
That’s why All In is a must-read for every leader out there!
I also want to give a shout out to Danielle Mulvey and Heenle Turner at the All In Company. For those that want to go deeper they are a truly great resource. If I implement just a small part of what they teach my employees will be happier and my business will be stronger.
Thanks Mike!
Here are some of the key ideas that I found especially enlightening:
* Using workshops as a recruitment tool
* Detailed insight on how to set up a team member’s first day
* How to cultivate psychological ownership
* Using what vs why questions for self assessment
Throughout the book he uses interesting and funny stories. My favorite is when he uses the TV show Survivor to inspire a failed interview process. The idea itself is funny and relatable but his writing really brings it to life.
I highly recommend this book for the entrepreneur looking to build an engaged, motivated team.
I've been a fan of Mike's for years because he consistently delivers on his promises.
I can't wait to start putting these concepts into practice in my own business.
His Profit First and Get Different completely transformed things for my businesses and he's hit it out of the park again with this one. I WISH I'd had this book eight years ago when I started my business....seven years ago when I hired my first employee...and even three years ago when we had massive growth and I had to figure out how to balance a rapidly growing team.
The next best time, is right now as I'm preparing for how to balance a new year of growth...I'm so grateful for this!!
